Just three photos of this one.      Lots of dry grass and some juniper in the high desert.
The left photo also shows smoke from another fire in the distance.
The Parish Cabin Fire is believed to be human caused
near John Day, Oregon in 2012.
The last two photos above and those below, are showing a type of retardant used mostly by helicopters nick-named "Blue Goo".
In this case it was being used to build a fire line around a steep draw so that it could be burned out safely.
The blue Goo was pretty being dropped, but once on the trees, it was hard to see.
